Inspired by Y2K: MLB and atmos pink Are Launching Bespoke Sneakers
Don't delay; bat on it. Preorders begin on 20 December and end on 26 December.
Despite being the national sport of America, baseball is a global phenomenon. And sneakers are synonymous for the same reason. The pioneering sports league has, in fact, worked with Gucci, Vans, and adidas, to name a few, on famous sneaker collaborations. Hence, it is unquestionable that MLB and atmos pink go out of the field to launch a collection of bespoke sneakers together.
The contemporary and athletic collection reinterprets the classic heritage of the organization, which symbolizes the American Sports Lifestyle with 140 years of tradition, in a modern and sporty style. Fully constructed in leather, there are four colorways—a straightforward spectrum of hues—to choose from. The well marked emblem on the upper has a unique, atmos pink-like pattern with rhinestones added, and a nod to the “New York Yankees” is featured on the heel. Overall, the thick-sole design’s simplicity and Y2K inspiration characterize its customized appearance.
The MLB x atmos pink bespoke sneakers are formally launching on 28 December through atmos pink, capping out the year. Preorders are being allowed earlier, from 20 December to 26 December, and they will be dispatched by early January 2023. Each pair costs 13,090 JPY (~ US$100), so they won’t burn a hole in your wallet.
