Jordan Luka 1 Euro Steps Into the “Year of the Rabbit”
Luka Magic pulls a rabbit out of a hat.
With the ever-expanding “Year of the Rabbit” collection proliferating in both the Swoosh and Jordan Brand’s on-court and off catalogue, the idiom, “breed like rabbits”, is not at all apocryphal. Thus far subsumed are the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2, Jordan Legacy 312, Air Jordan XX3, and the brand quintessence, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Today, the Luka 1 joins the commemorative pack.
The composition remains thematic with its contemporaries with sail, white, and olive dressing the pair. Much like the others, the first serves as the core of the palette as seen on the tightly knit mesh base. It’s framed within the white dotted overlays below and the eyestays on top. White continues on, permeating the sole unit on the forefoot and heel as it moves up through the TPU heel mould back on the upper, and the interior.
As far as embellishments, olive comes through on the accent on the heel and tongue. Presiding over the latter is the namesake’s logo embroidered in red, the color filling the entirety of the interior, the heel tab, and through the translucent outsole underfoot. Congruent with the Lunar New Year staple, gold remains proximate to where the reds are, as seen on the Jumpman on the interior and the one on the lateral heel.
No release date has been affirmed at the time of writing. But considering its a commemorative pack, expect to find them on SNKRS with a price tag of US$130 sometime during the holiday next month.
