Many things have inspired the silhouette over the years, this time the Swoosh dip their hands into the pool of inspiration and draws out the “Rainbow Trout”, paying homage to Oregon’s number one game fish.
The Trout’s vermiculation inspires the patterns on the toe box and the base layer of the quarter panel. Additionally, the profile Swooshes—derivative of the fish’s underbelly—arrives by way of the scaled iridescent finish, slightly adorned with a pale yellow hue. There, the motif strengthens its presence with a hooked tooth embellishment on the head of the die-cut logo, with a last clear nod to the aquatic animal on the imprint on the tongue tag.
Moreover its construction, the overlays feature a dark green suede with it accenting the collar in contrast to the jet-black lining of the interior. Adjacent is the orange that forms the entirety of the tongue, sharing duties on the heel counter panel with the dirty pink presiding below. Making the shoe ready for consumption is the sail sole unit underfoot.
There’re no other information accompanying the leaked images shared by @kicksdong, but they’re expected to arrive sometime in 2023.
