[Update 14 Feb 2023] After laying low for a short period of time, DTLR recently took to their Instagram to tease a latest image with a caption of the release date. Set to drop on 24 February, the DTLR x New Balance 990v3 “GR3YSCALE” will be made exclusively available via DTLR.

We have seen the evolution of the New Balance 990 since its debut in 1982 with numerous renditions of the silhouette and the 990v3 is definitely a notable one among the list. With Washington-based boutique DTLR, the duo brings the 990v3 back with another exclusive update that we thought we never needed.

Arriving in “GR3YSCALE”, leaked images shows the suede and mesh constructed upper panels outfitted in a modern greyscale color palette that matches the versatility of the silhouette. Accentuated on the heel with a pop of red on the NB logo, the sneaker gets equipped with ENCAP technology for superior durability, cushioning and repulsion.

No release dates are confirmed yet, but the DTLR x New Balance 990v3 “GR3YSCALE” is expected to hit shelves in January 2023 for $195 via DTLR so do stay tuned here for any future updates to come.
