Japanese label glamb traverses familiar territory when it comes to collaborating with some of the biggest anime franchises in the pop culture zeitgeist. The list includes classics like Evangelion and Ghost in the Shell, to more contemporary titles like Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Somewhere in between, there’s Naruto and its Shippuden sequel.

The exhaustive 10-piece collection carries an array of t-shirts, long-sleeved and short, hoodies, and even a special sukajan (souvenir jacket). It’s a playground for its designers with so many IPs to work with, and a candy store for fans with such a diverse offering. While the colors form the staple of white, off-white, black, and grey, the icing on the cake are the detailed, custom graphics.

Some standouts include the “Naruto T” featuring the the eponymous character in his provocative pose with the glamb logo in the background, in orange complementing his outfit. Blended with the typography is the Rasengan, Naruto’s signature, a perfect accoutrement highlighting the titular centerpiece. Below lay the words “That’s My Ninja Way”, his motto.

In the same list are the “Sasuke Hoodie”, “Naruto vs Sasuke Long Sleeves T”, and the “Itachi T”; all designed with a similar motif. Last but not least, is the “Biju Ska Jumper”, also the most expensive at JPY38,500 (~US$280), depicts an all-over print of the 9 Tailed Beasts. Excluding the aforementioned, the price tag on the pieces range from JPY8,470 (~US$60) to JPY23,650 (~US$172).

The collection is available for pre-order now until 26 December and is expected to arrive between late-March to early-April.

It’s a long wait but looking at glamb’s previous collaborations, they do sell out quickly. Best to make haste. Till then however, have a look also at the adidas Originals x HAMCUS F/W22 collection.
