Considering 2023 will be the Year of the Rabbit, many lifestyle brands have been building collections inspired by the Zodiac animal, including Vans. It was only a month ago when they teamed up with Japanese retailer Billy’s for a “Patchwork” collection exclusive to their platform and yet, on beast mode, they’ve produced another with their sophomore effort.

The rabbit motif traverses the entire apparel and footwear offerings, whether it be with faux fur, or graphic imprint. Subsumed first is the quintessentially Vans, Authentic with its entire upper designed with the rabbit’s fur patterns—as it is for the Slip Ons. Moreover, the two offerings of the Chukka in both a uniform black and brown colorways, imbeds hair leather on the entirety of the upper.

The accompanying apparel, a reversible stand-up collar jacket, will feature the same rabbit fur print as seen on the Authentic and Slip Ons. On the reverse, the black fur, complements the Chukkas.

They’ll be available for pre-order from 12 December, 11 AM (JST) exclusively at Billy’s with a wider release happening on the 16th. The Authentic and Slip Ons are listed with a price tag of JPY9,350 (~US$68), the reversible jacket at JPY19,800 (~US$145), and lastly, the Chukkas at JPY13,200 (~US$96).

In other Japanese-exclusive collaborations, check out the BEAMS x Puma Suede MIJ “Navy”.
