First Look: Air Jordan 1 Low Golf NRG “Purple Smoke”
What do Space Jam and golf have in common? Michael Jordan's giant footprint.
The Air Jordan 1, which was designed first for basketball, now comes in a model specifically for golf. The 1980s saw a rise in Michael Jordan’s passion for golf, but it wasn’t until 2015 that Nike introduced this range, offering the colorway “Purple Smoke,” whose main colors are reminiscent of Bupkus from the Space Jam movie.
Dressed in an amalgam of university blue, white, cave purple, and purple smoke combining leather, nubuck, and mesh materials. Shades of purple dominate the whole look, with blue accents on the heel and insole. To finish off, its recognizable rubber outsole features a traction pattern to aid you in powering through your swing.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf NRG “Purple Smoke” will be dropping soon, just in time for Christmas, for US$140 on Nike. Meanwhile, enjoy the official images for more close ups.
