NEIGBORHOOD and adidas share a fruitful partnership that has resulted in numerous pairs of collaborative sneakers, the most recent of which is a greyed-out edition of the revived adidas Adimatic. And it seems like the momentum of their synergy in 2022 doesn’t just consist of releasing newer designs, but also the restocking of limited runs. Yes, we’re talking about the NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas NMD R1 “Paisley Pack” that saw a sparse drop in January but is now (hopefully) returning with greater vigor.

As its name suggests, the “Paisley Pack” features two adidas NMD R1 colorways—”Core Black” and “Night Navy”—printed with the bandana-inspired design. Given the intricacy of the Kashmir-derived pattern, the NMD’s usual textured Primeknit is swapped out for canvas while overlays don a tonal suede. Three Stripes branding land on their usual places on the lateral side and heel while NEIGHBORHOOD’s logo lands as a black rubber panel on the midsole. A yellowed finish on the sole contrasts the darker tones present on the upper, lending the pack a touch of retro, perhaps as a nod to paisley’s prominence in the 60’s.

This NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas NMD R1 “Paisley Pack” is available for drawings on adidas CONFIRMED and results will be released on 28 Nov. Winners will have to produce US$160, the pair’s retail price.
