The Nike P-6000 Makes a Shiny Comeback
Another retro-style sneaker from the Swoosh.
Following myriad colorways of the Zoom Vomero, Nike is looking at re-releasing another retro-inspired sneaker—the Nike P-6000.
Though the original Nike P-6000 only debuted in 2019, its design borrows heavily from two other Nike classics, the Pegasus 25 and Pegasus 2006. The result is a timeless, contemporary silhouette made up of a mesh upper with leather overlays.
Now, three years after it was first introduced, the P-6000 looks set to return. The first official images of the Nike P-6000 “Metallic Silver” are here, and this retro release retains the exact same old-school runner look. Breathable grey mesh is topped off with silver leather strips. The Nike Swoosh comes in black, a shade that also appears on the outsole, and in between the upper and midsole.
Nike also added the text “P-6000” across the lateral heel, while in the middle of the lacing unit are the words “Bowerman Series”, nodding to its running shoe inspiration. No release information is available at the time of writing, so be sure to follow along for the latest updates.
