The color appears more vivid and the texture of the combined materials is more visible for better visualization. Although the price has not yet been disclosed, get ready with your wallets because an online release is coming shortly.

[Update 1 Dec 2022] As the world get indulged in the atmospheric hype of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Stone Island hops on with a release date announced for the Stone Island x New Balance 574 “Steel Blue”. Set to release exclusively via Miami Stone Island on 1st December, stay tuned for an upcoming online release as teased by Stone Island. The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar is here, and Stone Island and New Balance are ready to continue the legacy of the Boston-based brand’s famed 1988 creation, dubbed “Steel Blue”.

The New Balance 574 explores a pre-worn olive-treated suede across its main overlays, while its base layer renders a grid-layered mesh dressed in rarely seen sage hues, harkening to military influences to the nines. The perforated heel tab, ridged heel clip, and sectioned midsole all use metallic grey as an anchor across the model’s rear half, while the “N” logo appears to have been created using a 3D printer. The signature compass emblem of the Italian-based company is adorned on the tongue tabs in shades of green, yellow, and black, while the fuzzy sock liner, midsole, and laces give the rest of the shoe a brighter Off-White feel.

The Stone Island x New Balance 574 “Steel Blue” will anticipate a debut in the coming weeks via SNKRS.
