While all eyes are on the official launch of the Air Jordan 1 High “Lost & Found”, Nike and Jordan Brand are quietly dropping another pair of AJ1 in a retro colorway just a day before.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Bordeaux” is highly reminiscent of its older brother, the AJ1 High “Bordeaux” that was released a year earlier, and has all the landmark traits of the titular colorway. Across an upper made out of smooth white leather, the burgundy shade (or “Maroon”, as Taylor Swift calls it) finds its way all over the overlays, lacing unit, insole and outsole.

Similar to the AJ1 High Bordeaux, the Nike Swoosh, alongside Jumpman and Air Jordan Wings logos, are rendered in an affable grey color. It’s worth noting that the 2022 Bordeaux shade has more of a reddish hue to it. The choice of leather here is smooth full grain leather, replacing last year’s tumbled leather, giving the shoe a more vibrant sheen overall.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Bordeaux” drops today in men’s and grade school sizing for US$110 and US$90 respectively.

In other sneaker-related news, the Air Jordan 1 High “UNC Blue” is returning in 2023 with a refreshed new look.
