[22 Nov 2022] The Kith x New Balance “Pistachio” Pack will now be available exclusively at Kith’s brick-and-click on 23 November ET at 11 a.m. (ET), as opposed to its initial Black Friday release date. The 2002R is retailing for US$150 and the 993 for US$210. View the official images on the slider above.

November has been eventful for NYC-based designer Ronny Fieg. Following his 10th anniversary with Kith, he was named the first-ever creative director of the New York Knicks. Alongside that, he has a few surprises up his sleeve, including a partnership with New Balance on two of its hyped silhouettes.

The New Balance 2002R and 993 offerings were shared with the world via Instagram with the comment “Pistachios. Black Friday.” In keeping with some of the Kith frontman’s earlier work, both silhouettes have been reinterpreted with a subdued green tonal arrangement. The 2002R chooses leather and nubuck materials, while the 993 is made of a suede and mesh mixture. Though Fieg’s name probably appears on one of the shoes’ spines and on the sock liners, neither the Made in the USA nor the New Balance Running model appear to have much co-branding. Each model is finished with a vintage-inspired worn rubber sole.
