First Look: Two 18 x Air Jordan 2 Low “Black”/ “White”
As seen at a friends & family exclusive event held by Two 18, a week before the general release date.
Detroit’s Two 18 has recently released their long-awaited Air Jordan 2. The pair arrived in a tonal tan outfitting accented by red and blue. But so it seems it’s not the sole product of the collaboration between the two parties. During an exclusive events for friends and family, images of some sample pairs were leaked. Depicted were a dominant black colorway, alongside a varied white pair.
The motifs on the aforementioned pairs remain consistent with the general release. The red and blue accents along the quarter; the metal aglets; the city map on the insoles; and the translucent crystal rubber underfoot.
Where the sample pairs differ from the released is apparent on the collar: where the former features a faux crocodile skin-pattern on the collar, the latter bares nothing but a clean suede finish. From what’s discernible from these leaks, the black pair features a suede construction on the upper while the White is built with white leather on the fore and suede at the rear.
Neither party have disclosed why the sample pairs never saw the light of day. Nevertheless, it’s not the first time that a F&F exclusive were given a general release once years removed.
