Founded by members of a punk rock band, california-based streetwear label Babylon LA is known for their bold graphic and patterns that reflects the skateboarding and music culture, offering past collaborations with big names such as Off-White, Beams and many more. This time, partnering with leather shoe brand Dr. Martens, the duo has introduced an unconventional take on the latter’s classic 1461 silhouette.

With the Babylon LA x Dr. Martens 1461 “Olive”, an outfit of olive canvas wraps the uppers, before revealing the iconic leather body underneath through a tear-away construction. Breaking in to a pair of leather shoes may be a concern of many, but the zipper equipped solves the issue of not being able to slip on the shoes easily. Finishing the look, Babylon LA proves their identity through a rip tape badge on the heels and accessorized hardware on the zippers.

Set to release on 21st November, the Babylon LA x Dr. Martens 1461 “Olive” will be made available via Dr. Martens and selected retailers for $150.
