Nike Dunk High Receives the Cloudy “Worn Blue” Treatment
Nike wants you to look down to see the skies with this Dunk High "Worn Blue".
It seems like the sky’s the limit with Nike, especially when we consider how much they have contributed to the footwear scene across the globe. From sports to fashion, the Swoosh has been a disruptive force that has triggered waves of changes and this sky-high philosophy finally finds an imprint on the brand’s silhouettes. Or at least, that’s what we like to think is the meaning behind this “Worn Blue” treatment that is akin to sparse clouds in the skies.
First seen on the Air Force 1, the hairy suede sees University Blue panels “scuffed” with patches of white, imitating blue skies. The insole, too, adopts a pastel blue composition with the Nike Air Swoosh resembling cartoon clouds. This eye-catching design is complemented with understated Sail laces and and sole, allowing the sky aesthetic to be the central element.
No official release dates have fallen from the skies, but we expect more news to follow as the year draws to a close. In the meantime, closer looks of this Nike Dunk High WMNS “Worn Blue” are available in the slider gallery above.
Blue isn’t your thing? We recommend checking out the Dunk Low LX “Pink Foam” that has a similar pastel aesthetic.
