There’s no doubt that Vans’ shoes have served as some of the most versatile canvas for sneaker collaborations. Over the course of the season alone, their silhouettes have been worked on by the likes of WTAPS and Supreme for their Fall/Winter 2022 collections. Riding this inertia, the quintessential skate brand reaches out to British designer Christopher Raeburn.

For their maiden effort together, they welcome the eponymous label to apply their usual MO of functionality and sustainability into two iterations of two of their classics: the Old Skool and the Sk8-Hi. Along with an accompanying apparel, the collection will partly integrate recycled materials and constructed with 100% polyester.

The footwear offerings will be made from 25% natural rubber and 25% bio-based EVA foam derived from plants. The four pairs are delivered with a militaristic aesthetic fittingly integrated with GORE-TEX membrane. One iteration sees a pair each with a camouflage-pattern and the other a dominant black with hits of orange on the heel tab.

The above-mentioned is scheduled for an 18 November drop at Vans’ brick-and-click. A price point nor any other information hasn’t been disclosed by either party but fret not, a release date is only a week away.

Elsewhere, check out the VICTORIA x Vans Skate Half Cab, another Vans collaboration going live imminently.
