[Update 13 Apr 2023] Official product images of RTJ’s two-pack SB Dunks have arrived, exactly a week ahead of its release. It’s been a longtime coming.

[Update 14 Feb 2023] Official images have yet to surface but a release date has been shared and it’s about as expected. The High and Low pairs will drop on 4/20. That’s 20 April this year. They’ll go for US$140 and US$130 respectively. Find them on SNKRS then. Get High or stay Low. It’s your call.

[Update 6 Dec] Once again, @yankeekicks comes through for the community, sharing on-feet photos of the RTJ x Nike Dunk Lows. In addition to the panoramic view, the images also hint to two alternate laces that will come with the shoes.

[Update 28 Nov] More images have surfaced of the two-pack SB Dunks. Leaks from @prvt.selection gives us a clearer and angular look of the pair and its eclectic construction—from the different textures on the upper to the crystal rubber outsole underfoot of the Lows. On the other hand, @yankeekicks offer us an on-feet look of the Highs. In addition, it also reveals the tag on the underside of the tongue hitherto unseen in previews photos.

More information should come to light as the release date draws closer. Neither RTJ nor Nike have given word in any official capacity.

[Update 21 Nov 2022] First looks and release dates for this Run the Jewels x Nike SB Dunk Pack has been unveiled by @masterchefian! The Dunk High iteration sees a black leather base made flamboyant with fuchsia pink pony hair overlays. As a nod to the duo’s name, the Swoosh has been made to look like a jewel. Yellow lands starkly on the insole and pink laces round out the entire look.

The Dunk Low is, comparatively, less extravagant in its outfit but just as stylish. With a similar leather build, a blue base is overlaid with shades of purple-toned blues for a cohesive blend. A pink Swoosh adorns the sides and an icy blue sole rounds out the look.

Both pairs are expected to drop next year on 20 April 2023. More details will likely follow in when we approach 2023. In the meantime, check out these first looks in the slider above!

Looks like the hip-hop duo of El-P and Killer Mike, Run the Jewels will be celebrating 4/20 next year going through a different High, (or Low). Rumblings at the rumor mill has the group releasing their own pair of Nike SB Dunks in a high and low-top. While information is scant at the time of writing, these images from @sneakerknockerzllc can at least ascertain their existence.

The only information that can be drawn is from what can be discerned from the leak. There’s no telling if the pack will come in any alternate colorways. But based on what’s depicted, the silhouette will arrive in white with tonal blue overlays across the upper and the marbled rubber sole unit. Adorned with magenta Swooshes on the profiles, the heel tab embroidery will feature the finger gun and fist symbols from RTJ’s insignia, implying whether to “rob the chain” or “snatch the chain”, but the semantics remain up for interpretation.

Neither Nike nor Run the Jewels have shared any thoughts of the leak but if it were to be released in April 2023, it would be in line with the former’s practice of celebrating Mary Jane’s day by releasing commemorative pairs. More information should surface in time, and when they do come to light, expect us to deflect it to you.

In other sneaker-related happenings, check out the equally vibrant Nike Air Jordan 2 Low Retro “Sky Orange” WMNS scheduled to arrive next year as well.
