[Update 10 Jul 2023] It seems like the Nike Air Jordan 7 “Chambray” is releasing earlier than expected. Slated to arrive on 15 July, the pair will be made available for purchase via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.

[Update 27 Jun 2023] Official images of the Nike Air Jordan 7 “Chambray” have emerged. They’ll be hitting shelves on 5 August with an RRP of US$200. That’s in a couple of months!

Much like its namesake, the Jordan Brand is set to dominate 2023 with a barrage of retro releases. From the AJ 1s to the 14s, it’ll be a homecoming for many of these pairs, such as this Air Jordan 7 “Chambray”. Set to return more than 16 years later, the titular pair arrives just as it did during its first release in 2006.

Nubuck coating engulfs the entirety of the upper, as a dominant jet-black traverses through every component of these parts, from the fore to the rear, the toe box to the heel. Hits of chambray comes through as embellishments from the Jordan branding on the tongue, the Jumpman on the collar and on the outsole, and the “23” on the heel counter. The color choice is repeated through the African-inspired motif as seen underfoot and the lining on the midsole’s profiles.

The pair has been scheduled for a 25th August 2023 release date with a price tag of US$200. Considering that it’s seasons away, anything could change. But if they do, count that you’ll hear about it from us.
