[Update 9 Mar 2023] Even more exciting news for Fly Streetwear and Nike SB fans. The revelation of a special box for the upcoming SB Dunk Low “Game Royal” has graced the internet today, and boy oh boy it’s a beauty. Crafted out of rattan, the special box comes with what seems like four chair legs. Overall, it does indeed look inspired by traditional Chinese furniture.

While the official reasoning behind the design of the box has not been revealed just yet, just know it won’t be easy to cop (obviously). Past SB releases either required you to physically be at the store or only purchasable via the shop’s website, which would also be country-restricted. For now, enjoy images of the beautiful special box release and we’ll keep you updated as soon as we can.

[Update 8 Mar 2023] We have gotten an updated release date for international fans of Fly Streetwear and Nike SB—23 March is the big day, mark your calendars!

Alongside this latest drop date, the Shanghai-based skate brand and Nike SB have also released a series of campaign images that features the titular shoe and the characters “福徕爱” (Fly in Chinese) prominently. Browse through the images as we count down to its imminent release.

[Update 24 Feb 2023] Alongside official images of the Fly Streetwear x Nike SB Dunk Low “Game Royal”, a release date has also surfaced. Set to arrive on 4 March, expect the pair to be made available via Nike SNKRS for US$120.

[Update 8 Nov 2022] On-foot photos of the Fly x Nike SB Dunk Low “Game Royal” have surfaced (courtesy of @yankeekicks), signalling that a release might be coming soon. Sources have pointed to a 2023 Spring release for the frequent collaborators’ latest sneaker. While we wait for more updates, browse through the early looks via the above gallery.

LineFollowing their last collaboration in 2018, Nike is finally joining hands with Shanghai-based skatewear brand Fly Streetwear again on a pair of Nike SB Dunk Low.

The Fly Streetwear x Nike SB Dunk Low was first seen on several sneaker accounts, appearing to be constructed from suede of varying textures. A blueish-grey colors the  suede upper, while overlays in shaggy blue suede wrap the shoe. The heel features a similar suede material but in a neon green shade. Gone are Nike’s regular laces, instead Fly Streetwear has replaced them with white rope laces with neon green tips.

There also seemed to be a feather theme going on—the lateral Swoosh is layered with white “feathers” and embroidered around the heel is a motif of what looks like a feather earring/key chain. On the insole, the same feather key chain motif appears alongside the Chinese characters “福徕爱 Fu Lai Ai”, the Chinese pronunciation of Fly.

The yet-to-be-named collaborative sneaker is reportedly dropping early 2023 at a retail price of US$120. Follow along as we continue to bring you more updates including release date and official images of the Fly x Nike SB Dunk Low.
