[Update 9 Nov] New official images have surfaced for the collaborative pair between the classic American shoe brand and Chicago boutique, Notre. In these new set of images, we see the inspiration behind the textile choices behind each pair. 

Whether it be through the scope of a hobbyist or through the discerning eye of the culturati, everybody to varying degrees is an aesthete. Some may see clothes and footwear solely as an aesthetic choice, others the same but with functional considerations. Nevertheless, an appreciation for one art can be like opening Pandora’s box to an appreciation for another.

Eventually everybody develops their own palate that influence their choices, especially ones that pertains to their immediate environment, their own space, their sanctuary, their home. Such is the pool of inspiration that Chicago boutique, Notre and Converse draw from for their first collaboration.

The three-piece collection will see some Converse staples reimagined with craftsmanship and thoughtful decor as the North Star. The One Star will arrive almost fully dressed in white, save for the grey rubber wrap on the fore of the midsole. The latter two offerings of the Chuck 70 will include a brown-dominant patchwork construction and the other light blue.

Information about the collection remain scant at the time of writing but a 12th November release date and some campaign images have been shared through Notre’s Instagram.
