[Update 31 Jan 2023] The moment you have all been waiting for: the Union Los Angeles x Air Jordan 1 Low “KO” is first set to release on 2nd February on Union LA’s website, followed by a subsequent release of the “White” pair on 4th February on Nike SNKRS worldwide. Good luck to those seeking to cop these beauties!

[Update 21 Jan 2023] Official images of the Union Los Angeles x Air Jordan 1 Low KO “White” (Leather) variation have finally arrived! Ahead of its purported 27th January release date, we finally get a detailed look at the Leather pair. Despite its name, suede is also used on most of its overlays, eyestays and heel of the sneaker.

This offering arrives in a never-before-seen navy blue Swoosh, with a set of extra green interchangeable Swooshes as previously teased. Similar to its Canvas counterpart, removing the navy blue Swoosh also reveals an inner print beneath the velcro layer, with an all over print of Union’s “UN/LA” branding within the boundaries of the Swoosh logo. We’re now all set for the release come 27th January. Who’s ready to pick up a pair or two?

[Update 11 Jan 2023] Speculate no further. Nike has officially unveiled official images of the upcoming Union Los Angeles x Air Jordan 1 Low KO “White” (Canvas). As previously teased, an interchangeable blue swoosh as well as a special box is included with the release of the canvas pair. Check out the images on the top slider above as we await for more official images and news regarding the leather variation!

[Update 10 Jan 2023] On-foot images have now arrived for the leather variant of the Union Los Angeles x Air Jordan 1 Low KO. Differentiating from its canvas counterpart, the pair features green interchangeable swooshes on the sides. Check out the images on the top slider as we await for official images expected to surface in the coming weeks.

[Update 6 Jan 2023] New images from @prvt.selection and @yankeekicks have surfaced weeks ahead of the pair’s 27 January release. Details of the shoes are more vivid, offering as well a much closer look at the hallmark interchangeable Swooshes on the profile. It’s not a new feature on a Nike footwear but this one stands out with the all-over imprint of the Union branding on the velcro window.

Official images have yet to be disclosed of the canvas pair, and its purported leather counterpart. But with D-day more imminent, they could be shared in the coming weeks.

[Update 29 Dec 2022] More leaked images of the Union LA x Air Jordan 1 Low KO have emerged, courtesy of @ovrnundr.io, letting us in on more design details of the collaborative sneaker.

The grey profile Swooshes on this AJKO have now been revealed to be removable and interchangeable, and come with an additional blue version. Underneath, where the velcro part to attach the Swoosh is, the text “UN/LA” is printed all over. We also have a clearer view of Union LA’s Frontman logo printed on one of the insoles.

Fans who prefer the Air Jordan in its usual leather get-up will be happy to know that a second leather pair is said to be in the works. Expect official images and more release info to stream in soon as we inch nearer to the Union LA x Air Jordan 1 Low KO pack’s 23 January release.

[Update 20 Dec] For months, the mockup has left plenty to the imagination regarding the collaborative pair but new images have surfaced offering a live look. It doesn’t differ too widely from the earlier image, actually.

White canvas serves as the base layer of the pair adorned with various hits of yellow: from the decorative stitching on the vamp, the lace loop on the tongue, and the UN/LA tag on the lateral heel. Further on the branding, the profile Swooshes arrive in a smooth grey finish leading attention towards the Jordan Wings logo on the heel counter, with “AJKO” taking the staple Air Jordan’s stead.

[Update 4 Nov] While no official images have surfaced for the Union Los Angeles x Air Jordan 1 Low KO, it is known that another Sail colorway will be joining the lineup with a release date of 27th January 2023. With another mockup by @zsneakerheadz, stay tuned as we await for more updates with regards to the release.

LINESerial collaborators Union LA and Nike are joining forces again, this time with the Jumpman in tow. Though the American boutique has worked on iterations of the Air Jordans, it is the first time that they will be overhauling the Jordan 1 KO — the “next gen” version of its eponymous OG model.

For the unfamiliar, the Jordan 1 KO is a repackage of the legendary Jordan 1 silhouette. Designed with comfort in mind, the usually full-leather construction is benched, while a mix of synthetic leather and canvas takes the upper’s court. Under Union Los Angeles’ helm, though, the Jordan 1 KO seems to have  omitted even synthetic leathers in favor of a fully-canvas upper. In a mockup provided by the trusty @zsneakerheadz, a white base is colorblocked with overlays of Neutral Grey, making it one of the more minimalist Union collaborations. However, Union’s “University Gold” still makes subtle appearances on the tongue and on the iconic UN/LA tag next to the Swoosh.

According to @zsneakerheadz, this Union Los Angeles x Air Jordan 1 Low KO will likely see a Holiday 2022 release, but could potentially land early 2023 too. Expected retail price sits at US$150. We’ll be sure to update our page once official information has been released, so be sure to keep SNKRDUNK magazine in your bookmarks.
