The Nike Dunk Low Wears a “Yellow Heart” for Valentine’s Day
Love is always in the air. This time it's on the Dunk Low.
[Update 26 Jan 2023] A release date for the Nike Dunk Low “Yellow Heart” has been confirmed. Set to drop on 1 February in women’s sizing, cop a pair via Nike SNKRS and selected retailers for $110.
[Update 20 Jan 2023] Official images of the previously unnamed Nike Dunk Low, now called “Yellow Heart” have arrived. A release date hasn’t been announced but if it is a thematic pair, then it can be assumed to be around Valentine’s Day on 14 February. Perhaps a price point will surface before then, too.
Images were shared online of a heretofore unseen Dunk Low, courtesy of @prvt.selection. Although there’s nothing to ascertain any information about the pair—an official name, a release date, nor a price point—other than these leaks, they could be part of Nike’s lineup of releases leading up to 2023’s Valentine’s Day. At the same time, it could also be subsumed into a thematic collection along with the Nike Air Max 97 “Feel Love”.
The pair comes in a tonal dressing of white with hits of sunflower yellow. The upper features a leather construction on the base with patent leather overlays on the mudguard, eye stays, and heel. Sail adorns the die-cut Swooshes on the profiles, sock liner, and lastly on the outsole underfoot.
Embellishments are introduced in yellow starting from the Nike branding on the tongue tag, and debossing on the heel. As a final touch are the small yellow Swooshes framed inside a white heart-shaped border, emblazoned on the lateral heel.
As we wait for more information, check out the Nike SB Dunk High “Sweet Beet”.
