[Update 27 Oct 2022] Just in: the NEIGHBORHOOD x Vans Anaheim Factory collection will be released globally on 29 October. Taking cues from the military, the collaborators dressed the shoes in four solemn colorways Grey, Sea Grass, Aluminum and Birch. Along with this release, there’s also a special edition incense chamber shaped after the Vans Sk8-Hi that’s exclusive to NEIGHBORHOOD ISETAN MEN’s Japan.

The NEIGHBORHOOD x Vans Old Skool 36 DX will retail at JPY15,400 (~ US$105) and the ERA 95 DX will be available at JPY14,300 (~ US$98), via Vans and NEIGHBORHOOD. While we count down to the launch, take a closer look at the collection via the gallery above.

LineFollowing up on the understated NEIGHBORHOOD x Vans Comfycush Sk8-Hi and Era Collection from 2021, the two collaborators are now expanding their portfolio with a new Vans Anaheim Factory line.

This upcoming collaboration consists of two Vans Anaheim Era 95 DX and two Vans Anaheim Old Skool 36 DX. Bringing the focus back to the unique silhouettes in the Anaheim Factory series, NEIGHBORHOOD and Vans dressed the shoes in the same-color suede from head to toe, featuring fall-friendly colors—Grey and Sea Grass on the ERA 95 DX, and Aluminum and Birch on the OLD SKOOL 36 DX. These same colors also appear on the eyelets, lace, midsole and trimming.

Similar to NEIGHBORHOOD and Vans’ previous collabs, various taglines and branding are featured throughout the shoes. Imprinted on the lateral midsole is NEIGHBORHOOD’s tagline “CRAFT WITH PRIDE TOKYO EST. 1994”. Another two branding details “NBHD URBAN CLASSICS” and “NBHD” are debossed onto the suede upper, one on the forefoot and the other around the heel.

As of the time of writing, the NEIGHBORHOOD x Vans Anaheim Factory 2022 collection will first drop on 29 October via Vans China. Follow along as we will bring you the latest on this collab, including global release date and more early looks.
