Slam Jam Joins Nike’s Air Force 1 Low in “Black” and “White”
Black or white—both colorways are slammin' and jammin'.
[Update 11 Jan 2023] After seeing a release of the white pair back in December 2022, a release date for the Slam Jam x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black” has also been announced by the duo. Set to drop on 14th January 2023 via Slam Jam and selected retailers, a SNKRS release will follow on the 17th with a price tag of $180.
Originating in Italy, Slam Jam is renowned for delivering a star-studded roster of designers and brands as well as for creating groundbreaking collaborations. In line with the commemoration of Nike Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary, the retail platform has reunited with the Oregon-based sportswear juggernaut with fan-favorite colorways that’s set to drop later this year.
This time, there are two all-white and all-black colors available. Both have an upper that mixes leather and mesh at the midfoot, adding another variation to the sneaker with co-branding design components. A reversed “NIKE AIR” on the heel mirrors the brand’s flipped “A” emblem, which can be seen on the perforated toe box, among these design cues. Next, “SLAM JAM” writing appears on the tongue, followed by a unique “SJ AF-1” sockliner and complementary shoe box.
The Slam Jam x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black” and “White” releases are anticipated to happen in the upcoming months. Expect to see a pair at Nike and Slam Jam.
