There’ve been many collaborations between The Simpsons franchise and footwear brands. From Nike, to Vans, and most recently adidas. While it’s not the last’s first foray together, it’s the first time they’re putting the spotlight on Marge Simpson, turning her into a Superstar—pun intended.

The blueprint, no pun intended, is simple: take Marge Simpson’s hair and let it envelope the upper. As evident, her hair manifested in blue fleece, forms the entire base of the upper with the matriarch marking both sides of the lateral. The usual placement of the Trefoil logos are replaced with the TV show’s title card on both the heel tab and tongue, its space reserved on the insoles.

Alongside it, it’s indicated that the pair is part of their larger initiative to “END PLASTIC WASTE”. The upper is believed to be made with 50% recycled materials. Holding the entire construction together are the while sole unit and toe box. The collaborative pair will also come in a special shoe box with the Springfield clouds printed over.

Save for the official images, there isn’t much information regarding a release date nor a price point, but it should arrive soon before long.
