The LA Dodgers is one of the most popular teams in the MLB. As they pursue another World Series championship, adidas lends their support and celebrates the team by applying their colors on the Ultra Boost 5.0 DNA, albeit in unorthodox fashion. While it’s easy to inject some blue into the shoe, the Three Stripes has embedded the team’s DNA by adopting the palette of the uniquely-colored seats of their home, Dodgers Stadium.

The blue represents the ocean and skies; green, the surrounding landscape; orange, the famous beaches the city’s famous for; and lastly, yellow for the perpetual sunshine that embrace the city. adidas has also engaged LA-based design studio Down the Street for a limited edition poster to coincide with the concept.

From a performance aspect, the silhouette retains its hallmark features like the BOOST midsole, the TPU heel and quarter cage. Also, the above-mentioned colors traverse through the PRIMEKNIT upper from blue, green, orange, and yellow. The pair is currently available on adidas.com with a US$190 price point.
