An homage to the titular designer's first 2013 pop-up.

Todd Snyder and New Balance reunite once more for their sophomore collaboration since the extremely limited NB 992 10th Anniversary, a silhouette beloved by Steve Jobs and fans of the color gray alike.

The titular menswear designer is based in New York producing quintessential pieces reflective of American style, “offering signature essentials, statement pieces, custom suiting, and iconic accessories.” In the past, he’s collaborated with brands like Champion, Timex, Most, Moby’s, and FJ Company. He’s also held leading roles in Polo Ralph Lauren, The Gap, and J.Crew.

For the upcoming pair, Todd Snyder takes the opportunity to pay homage to his first New York City pop-up store in 2013. Much like its predecessor, the 237 “City Gym” takes on a grey color palette as well, a color deeply-infused with the eponymous label’s DNA.

The silhouette, an amalgam of some of the shoemaker’s archive models (the “420”, “1300”, and “Gator”), sees itself dressed in a greyscale outfitting, reminiscent of the workout gears from the 1970s. It features a waffle-tread outsole, along with a satin and suede finish on the upper, resulting in a retro-inspired aesthetic—a signature of both brands. The shoes will also be accompanied by an apparel as seen on the campaign images below.

While information is scarce at the time of writing, the pair is slated for release on 25th October on ToddSnyder.com.
