[Update 13 Apr 2023] A release date for the Nike Dunk Low “Pure Platinum” has finally been announced. The Dunks Lows are experiencing a ubiquity that used to be reserved for the Air Force Ones, with new iterations seeming to come out of the woodwork every second. Although the black-and-white “Panda” colorway is THE staple in almost every fashion enthusiasts’ footwear rotation, this “Pure Platinum” scheme, given time, can prove just as versatile.

An all-too-familiar silhouette—the upper is constructed with an all-white leather with a mesh build on the tongue and lining. Pure platinum stands lightly in contrast on the canvas by way of the Swoosh, leading to the branding elements on the tongue and heel, before finding its way underfoot on the outsole.

There’re no collaborations or a grand narrative to drum up hype for the pair other than the nature of its design and simplicity. At the time of writing, a release date hasn’t been announced but with the official images going live, it should be imminent. Expect them to drop at Nike.com and select retailers with a price tag of US$110.
