[Update 5 Jan 2023] The Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid “Alternate Bred” is available now on Nike’s brick-and-click with a RRP of US$125. Expect to see more from the Jumpman in the coming months as the slew of their scheduled retro releases become more imminent.

LINEThe Air Jordan 1 “Bred” colorway is one of the most storied colorways in NBA history. Till this day, retro-ed editions continue to sell like hotcakes. Nike clearly understands the allure of this iconic style, continually releasing new Bred colorways every year. Following Patent Bred and Reverse Bred, we now have an “Alternate Bred” colorway.

The Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid “Alternate Bred” comes dressed in an all-too-familiar Black, Fire Red, and White color combo. The colors on its leather upper stay true to the OG, with black being the predominant color while red appears on the toebox, collar and Nike Swoosh. Underfoot, a Fire Red outsole completes the white midsole.

This Alternate Bred colorway brings along some minor updates—the black laces have been swapped to red ones, and the tongue and heel lining now feature red trimmings.

Retailing at US$125, the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Alternate Red” is expected to drop in the coming weeks. Take a closer look at this pair via official photos as we continue to bring you the latest updates.
