In an age where countless of sneakers are dropped by big names on a regular basis, it is not easy and considered a brave decision to be made for a brand to debut brand new silhouettes in hopes of catching the public’s attention. But taking that big step is none other than Belgian fashion label NAMACHEKO.

Introducing the ‘Murabi’ sneaker, a design that draws inspiration from textures and patterns found on the brand’s own clothing line. Though having partnered up with Italian shoemaker Enzo Bonafe for past releases, this is the first time the brand has officially released an in-house design for footwear.

Spotting similarities to classic German Army Trainers, the body features unconventional layering of textiles such as goat fur and glossy reindeer leather which wraps a contrasting bovine leather. Finished in three colorways, the brand manages to create completely different variations to a single design.

Retailing from 200 to 220 EUR (~US$195 to $215), the Murabi Sneaker pre-releases in a grey colorway on 2nd October, followed by the Silver and Sky Blue/Grass Green colorways on 6th October via selected retailers.
