Founded by Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo, COMME Des GARÇONS has always been a big name in the fashion community. Known for her unconventional designs, she also manages to gain attention from streetwear fans with her Play CdG and CDG line, which incorporates a more casual approach as compared to her main diffusion lines.

This time, the designer’s shirt line “CdG Shirt” is back with a collaboration with sports label Asics for her AW22 collection. The lineup shows her take on two of Asics’ retro silhouettes, respectively the OC Runner and the Japan S.

While the OC Runner will be releasing in both a glossy black and matte white colorway, the Japan S will only be releasing in white and features a pixelated graphic print on the heel tab by street artist Invader, who also worked on the apparel collection for her runway show.

Retailing at $390, the COMME Des GARÇONS x Asics OC Runners and Japan S are now available at selected retailers.
