The pool of colorway inspiration the Dunks can pull from is bottomless, as we’ve already seen. It’s one of the factors for its ubiquity in the status quo. While the “Panda” is nonpareil, others have done enough to make its mark and get its fair share of the spotlight.

This time, Nike delivers one adopting the team colors of the MLB’s Kansas City Royals. The titular pair adopts their Royal Blue and gives it a regal touch with divvied golden accents. Built on a white leather base, the blues makes its presence on the pair through the various overlays and the Swooshes. With just the right touch, the gold takes their place on the Nike branding on the tongue tag, the heel, before resting underfoot on the outsole.

Not much is known about the pair just yet but a release date could be imminent with the appearance of these official images.
