[Update 14 Dec 2022] There’s still no firm release date on the aesthetic pair but while everyone’s lying in wait for D-Day, new on-feet images have been shared by @yankeekicks to help you decide by the time they drop.
Nike has confirmed a duo this fall. Along with the “Industrial Blue” pair, the sportswear giant will soon release the “Light Orewood Brown” Dunk Low in a material that resembles similar denim-like fabric.
The upper is dressed in Light Orewood Brown, Pale Ivory, and Orewood Brown. The eyestays, toe, and heel detail are reinforced with red stitching, and it is attached with a deeper brown thread to resemble the traditional finishes of the material. Nike branding and cross-stitched marks take inspiration from conventional sashiko techniques, replacing conventional holes. A tonal two-tone sole unit unites all of these elements to complete the look.
Although a release date has not yet been set, there is optimism that it will occur before the end of the year. When the plunge does occur, it’s anticipated that they will sell for US$120 on Nike.
