First Look: Guo Ailun x Nike Air Jordan 37 PE
"To follow where your heart takes you."
Since 1984, the Jordan brand has been a big name in the scene known for producing sneakers for athletes and also putting out hyped collaborations. After introducing many different models throughout the years, the spotlight is now on the Air Jordan 37 (XXXVII), a model that was just introduced in June 2022. This time, in collaboration with their first Chinese signee, Guo Ailun, the duo has unveiled a new signature model, the Guo Ailun Air Jordan 37 PE.
Featuring white synthetics and mesh upper, it is complemented with a turqoise lining throughout the sneaker. The leano-weave material is also reinforced with an exoskeleton on the sides for more support, exactly what an athlete needs in the game. Among the overall minimal color palette, a pop of gold shine through on the Jordan logo, top eyelets and heel tabs, as though reflecting the star’s career as he shines on the court. Finishing off, chinese characters are hidden on the shoe tongue in a tonal fashion which states his understanding towards what he pursues as a goal.
Lastly, the shoe box is also printed with the initial of his surname “G” to represent the identity of the collaboration.
No confirmed release dates are announced yet but do stay tuned as they are expected to be dropped in the coming months.
