BOTTER Partners adidas For SS23

Led by creative duo Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter, BOTTER is a creation of their visions representing the fushion of music, literary, culinary and origins which forms the rich and hybrid Carribean culture. Changing the way they approach the classic fashion system, the brand aims to tackle current social and environment issues through sustainability of products.

Following a collaboration for FW22, BOTTER and adidas has once again teamed up for a SS23 campaign, dubbed “The plastic sea”. Exploring the idea of incorporating ‘water’ into the collection, the runway models are seen rocking a pair of floating footwear, bearing the unmistakable three stripes. While they aren’t actually floating, the label creates an illusionary perception of moving through water by attaching a bulky transparent outsole to the traditional Predator Edge models. While utilizing the additional sole removes the functionality of the inner studs, the main primeknit upper and collar still ensures your feet are locked in and stable as you walk.

Featured in two classic colorways, Core Black and Solar Red, no official details have been announced for the collaboration, but do expect the footwear to be dropped in the near future.
