The Nike Air Max Plus 3 quickly evolved from an obscurity cult classic to a contemporary need with its revival in the beginning of 2019, starting a strong newfound reputation today. While the sneaker has been offered in every tonal combination throughout the summer, the Beaverton-based brand saw the addition of a new colorway to its inventory in its most recent collection of fall-appropriate styles — this time dominated by a black-on-black makeup.

The mesh construction of the forefoot is covered in thin, transparent TPU strips, and the mudguard has a glossy finish, all of which contribute to the model’s overall pitch-black appearance. While its collar, midsole tip, and tongue display numerous logo components done in white, the neighboring molded heel counter gives silver embellishments. The stenciled insignias in the latter two colors are spray painted on top of the forefoot embroidered Swoosh, which divides up the murky yet subtle combination. To wrap it up, the “TN” logos conclude on the tongue and heel on the medial side.

There’s no confirmed release date yet for this other than the pair being priced at US$185, but be sure to sit tight and keep your eyes peeled on further details as they’re made available.

Elsewhere in the sneaker realm, check out the adidas Originals adiFOM Q, which comes in four monochromatic color variations.
