The Debut, of the Nike LeBron 20 “The Debut”
The cavalry of XX's is already marching in before the King's 20th season begins.
Roll out the red carpet for the King. The rollout cycle of LeBron James’ 20th signature has begun in time for his 20th NBA season. Aptly, at the fore of this release cycle is “The Debut” colorway.
Following the lead of its “Time Machine” predecessor, this iteration comes cloaked in regal White, Metallic Gold, Black, University Red, and Wolf Grey. An intricately knitted upper make up most of the technologically-advanced performance shoe.
A silhouette signature, the double-stacked, tailpipe Swooshes comes embellished in gold, highlighted by a bold red outline. The mudguard carries a monochromatic, floral graphic print that leads to the blue crystal rubber outsole underneath. Within it, in a black and red blend, the mid-foot carbon fiber plate stands in contrast.
Back up top, the “XX” insignia reveals its presence through the gunmetal lace dubraes, and on the tongue in red, where it is stitched over the debossed signature of the King. A singular “X” holds the laces to the shoes, replacing the general incision seen in most sneakers.
There’re no official photos as of yet, but a release date has surfaced pointing to a 12th December drop. A price tag of US$200 is currently attached to it.
To segue into other news, basketball shoes have become the coalescence of science and sport. The quintessence of this new ethos— the Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2—just dropped in a new colorway. Go ahead and look into it.
