LQQK Studio Debuts Reebok Collaboration in 2 All-Over Print Colorways
The Shoe of the Printer! Think silkscreen gone wild.
Based in Brooklyn, LQQK Studio was established in 2010 as a printing studio and subsequently developed a reputation as a creative collective across boundless mediums — such as art, music, creative direction, branding and marketing. Not a stranger to capsule collaborations, after successful efforts with Vans in 2018, and Paul&Shark the following year, the burgeoning studio is joining the family of yet another footwear mainstay: Reebok.
As a nod to their beginnings, LQQK Studio has given the Classic Leather a distinctive, all-over print. Each iteration consists of 2 complementing shades, with green being the main pigment. Founder, Alex Dondero, intentionally omitted out negative space in the design as part of their identity. The shoe features a leaf-printed camouflage design over a white gum midsole. Both pairs include intricate LQQK branding at the tongue, window box, and heel. The first pair comes in “bubble gum” and “pine green,” while the latter is done in “wild brown” and “bright ochre.”
Slated to debut soon this week, 16 September, at a retail price of US$120 via LQQKSTUDIO.com. A global release for the latter will be on 21 September from Reebok.com. Official colorway details will be announced soon.
