Eric Koston is back with a new Nike sneaker after three years. Following up on his Air Jordan 1 Low from 2019, the legendary skateboarder picked the Nike SB Blazer—his favourite skate shoe—to collaborate on.

This is not the first time Eric Koston and Nike are teaming up on a SB Blazer. Fans will find the blue-on-white color palette, previously seen on other Eric Koston x Nike Blazers, familiar, while some not-so-subtle changes have been implemented too.

The 2022 Eric Koston x Nike SB Blazer Mid “Night Shade” now comes in white tumbled leather with a distinct quilted pattern resembling fish scales and a metallic teal Swoosh on the side. Grey suede dresses the lace stay and heel tab, adding a premium touch to the shoe. Eric Koston’s mark can also be found on the right heel tab via his initials “EK”, while the “Nike” text is embroidered on the left side.

This pair of collaborative SB Blazer Mid was first announced in April, and has now been confirmed to drop on 14 September in Japan.
