It was revealed that the Air Max 97 in “Gold Bullet” would be coming back as a retro release in June. Official images have recently surfaced. 

Originally released in 1999, the Air Max 97 has received the retro release treatment a few times since 2004. It was brought back in 2010 and most recently, 2018. Fans will notice that there is a silver version, aptly titled “Silver Bullet”. 

The silhouette is immersed in gold with metallic gold on the mesh panels and along the sides of the shoe. A Varsity Red swoosh is embroidered on the side panels and on the tongue. 

The “Gold Bullet” is set to release in Spring 2023 at a retail price of US$185. It will be sold on Nike.
