Rhude Decorates the Vans Acer Ni SP with Yellow Paisley Patterns

Nothing explicitly rhude — just clean paisley design over yellow suede.

California-based streetwear imprint Rhude has never been shy in coating the Vans Acer Ni SP in elaborate designs. This is to be expected, given that the luxe streetwear label’s moniker is a bounces off “rude” and perpetuates this rebellious spirit in their designs. In their previous link-up, Rhude redesigned the Acer Ni such that the suede upper was revamped with an all-over embroidery that resembled a bandana.

This time around, it seems like Rhude’s founder Rhiugi Villaseñor has teased a new project with Vans and the Acer Ni SP. First announced by uptodate Tokyo, a picture of what seems to be Rhigui’s tattooed hand is seen holding a Acer Ni SP in full mustard yellow suede. This unreleased colorway is embroidered in paisley designs, such that the designed portions partition out where the eyelets and mudguards are. Stitches of “RHUDE” can also be seen sporadically across the shoe.

Given that this was an Instagram Story teaser, no concrete details have been released. We can only wait with bated breath for more information to drop à la Rhuigi or Vans. In the meantime, why not check out the Former LTD x Vans collection that’s surfer-ready?
