The Y2K trend has taken the world by storm and the new Nike Dunk Lows are evidence of that. Aptly titled “Fur and Bling”, the sneakers are Nike’s latest special release for this model. 

In true noughties fashion, the shoe comes in a light khaki and white colourway, with a chocolate coloured swoosh logo on the side to match the lining. Off-white faux fur lines the quarter panels of the sneaker. The dark green heel tab has a silver ‘Nike’ printed in a retro style font emblazoned across. A small translucent button is attached to the ankles with the same chocolate thread. A four pointed star surrounded by a Nike swoosh halo is printed on the insole. To top it off, miniature gold and bedazzled charms decorate the laces. Kitschy accessories? Check. Bedazzled logomania? Also check. This pair of Dunk Lows encapsulates the streetwear-meets-glamour style that was evocative of the 00s.
