The Jordan Jumpman Pro Celebrates 25th Anniversary in Bulls Colorway
The Jumpman wears his red and black birthday suit.
The Jumpman Pro debuted in 1997 during Jordan Brand’s inception. That same year, Michael was on the road to a 5th championship and his vehicle of choice, was the Air Jordan 12. Thus, when it was time to create its successor, the team had the AJ12’s design DNA fuse into the Jumpman Pro. Evident in the leather upper, metallic eyelets, and wavy pattern. Many pros have worn the pair over the years, but on its 25th anniversary, it’s coming home.
The pair is dressed in classic Chicago Bulls color blocking—like it was back in the United Center in the ’90s. The white and black leather anchors the whole aesthetic, while scarlet refines it on the branding elements: the Jumpman on the forefoot outsole, tongue, insole and heel. As it were for many Jordans, the pair also has a visible carbon fiber shank midfoot.
A release should arrive in the coming weeks at Nike.com and select retailers.
Not the Jumpman Pro.
However, since you are looking at the AJ12, check out the upcoming Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 12.
