Bruce Lee has left an indelible mark on pop culture that’s even more vivid today, even decades removed from his passing in 1973 at just 32. Tributes have reached ad infinitum, seeing levels of worship just below saints and deities. On 13th August, Aape by a Bathing Ape will give their flowers through a collection inspired by the legend’s magnum opus—1973’s Enter the Dragon. The film has been the source of Bruce Lee’s most recognisable iconographies such as The Bride’s yellow tracksuit in Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003).

The still of his hallmark stance is the central motif that ties the entire collection. The t-shirts will come in white, black, and yellow, with kung-fu fonts overlaid on the classic image. There’s also a skateboard deck with the underside depicting moments from the movie’s best fight scene. Understandably, the highlight would be the sole grey jacket. The piece features the Bape logo on the right chest hit. His famous quote “Moving, be like water. Still, be like a mirror. Respond like an echo” sprawl across up to his signature.

The jacket will cost ¥25,300 (≈US$188), the t-shirts at ¥6,600 (≈US$49) each, and the deck at ¥10,010 (≈US$75). They’ll be available from 13th August at the Bape brick and mortar in Harajuku and Shibuya, or online at Aape’s official web store.
