Nike Air Force 1 Low “Little Accra” Dressed in Gold Ornate Tapestry
This Nike Air Force 1 Low "Little Accra" pay homage to New York City’s Ghanian community with ornate tapestry and distinctive motifs throughout for premium flair.
Nike continues to build on its 40th Anniversary Air Force 1 release calendar with the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Little Accra”, celebrating New York City’s thriving Ghanian community. Little Accra is an area in the Bronx near 167th Street that is home to a large Ghanaian community. This enclave and its culture inspire this new Air Force 1 colorway.
Flaunting a bold color scheme with a mix of red, burnt orange, yellow, gold, cream, and brown tones, the cream leather base is elevated by satiny red nylon overlays with ornate gold tapestry patterns decorating the laterals and rears. “Little Accra” text adorns the black velvet heel tab. Details include brass lace dubrae that features inscribed symbols that represent the Ghana culture, golden metal capped aglets, and Anniversary Edition text on the tongue tag. Messages of “Sharing Stories” and “Building Community” appear on the insoles which themselves feature a traditional African pattern. A white midsole with yellow accents and cream-colored rubber outsole finish off the look.
The Nike Air Force 1 ‘Little Accra’ will release on August 12 via SNKRS at the price of US$140.
