The Nike Air More Uptempo is an undisputed statement piece. From its bubble-like “AIR” lettering inspired by graffiti to its bold, structured lines that characterise the upper, this model particularly captures the spirit of the vibrant 90’s and carries the marks of the era’s hoop shoes. And this time around, the model is tapping into the generation’s well-known use of neon colors to dress its entire look.

To be specific, the Swoosh team has decided that the shockingly green Volt is all that’s needed to adorn this shoe. From collar to toe, the shoe’s entirety is covered in Volt, giving the already-eccentric shoe an even more alien feel. As per usual Nike Air More Uptempo style, the visible Air Sole units remain and elastic straps wrap across the tongue to keep your feet snug and secure.

Releasing on 28 July, this Nike Air More Uptempo Volt joins the line up of summer shoes that aim to be even brighter than the sun. It will retail for US$160.
