[Update 23 Sep 2022] Courtesy of @le.syndrome, we have more information on this Palm Angels x Vans collaboration! Slated for release on 1 October, the drop will include 1 Sk8-Hi, 1 Sk8-Mid and 1 Old Skool. However, official pictures and retail prices are still hidden from the general public. Fret not, we’ll be sure to update this page as soon as more information is made available.

LINEMaking an unexpected debut on the Palm Angels’ Fall/Winter 2022 runway was a collaboration between the luxury street brand and Vans Sk8-Hi. Though unprecedented, the partnership makes sense. Both have roots in skateboarding, and the increasingly commonplace melding of streetwear and high fashion only strengthens the duo’s ties.

In this iteration, close ups provided by @josh_kicks7 reveal that the uppers come in a tri-tone color palette. Red suede with contrast stitching makes on appearance on the toebox, tongue and eyelet overlays. White canvas makes up the lateral sides while nubuck overlays are seen on the high-top’s heel. Flat laces are accented by metal Palm Angels pins while ripped Palm Angels’ tape are plastered over the Vans sidestripe. A brown suede material finishes off the heel while the translucent soles give a peek of the Vans checkerboard pattern. The runway pictures also reveal that a black iteration will be made available, with Palm Angels’ beaded necklace-esque charms replacing the metal palm tree pins found on the red edition.

The Old Skool also joins the line up in gray, with similar tan suede on the heel and Palm Angels’ branding plastered to the lateral side. In essence, it is the “low” version for those that are not so keen on high tops.

Given that this Palm Angels x Vans collaboration pack debuted in Milan for the luxury street brand’s FW runway, it is expected to drop sometime in the fall season. Keep our page in your bookmarks to be updated with the latest news.

In the meantime, why not check out another skate collaboration between Fucking Awesome and adidas?
