Some images of a monochromatic Air Jordan 1 Mid have surfaced recently. It’s not to say that this color palette is new considering the One’s reputation as a staple in many sneaker collections. It’s highly reminiscent of the high-cut version released many years ago as part of the “Premium Essentials” pack, and another women’s exclusive some time later.

The Mids have always stood inferior to its taller counterpart but some creative iterations over the years have helped sway opinions to its side. Where less is more, this high-contrast “yin-and-yang” dressing does its job to accentuate the regalia. The Swoosh on the lateral, the AJ Wings logo, and the Jumpman on the tongue, in full visibility against the onyx body.

No official release date has been announced but until then, check out some interesting releases of the AJ1s recently like the “Inside Out” and “Split” colorways.
