A Women’s Exclusive: Converse x kotohayokozawa All Star Light V-2 OX
A unique All Star with a retro bowling shoes motif. You'd be surprised, it could be up your alley.
Converse partners with Japanese womenswear label kotohayokozawa for an update on the All Star Light, a lightweight redesign of the classic All Stars, replacing the standard vulcanized rubber sole for EVA.
Kotoha Yokozawa applies her signature touch through a retro bowling shoes motif, going for thick asymmetrical belts as the pair’s fastening system. The curvatures on these straps, the tongue, and the heel tab on the right pair are distinctive to the eponymous designer’s style. The main body is made of textured leather while the straps are suede. Two colorways will be released: A trio of green and gray, over a light blue upper; and a trio of ochre and gray over white. The shoes are limited to women’s sizing however so guys — sorry.
The collaboration will be released on July 29th in Japan and the price is currently set at ¥ 14,300 (US$105). You can get your hands on these through the Converse JP or atmos webstore.
