[Update 8 Aug] Official images have surfaced along with a release date and price point. The pair is scheduled to drop on 1st September for US$110. Keep your eyes peeled for the “Chili Pepper” on SNKRS!

In honor of Air Force 1’s 40th Anniversary, Nike will be dropping another iteration of the Air Force 1 Low to heat things up with this hot new “Chili” colorway.

The spicy look features a vibrant red and orange gradient suede upper complemented with cream leather overlays. The sockliner is dressed in green to represent the stem of a chili. A mini chili is embroidered on the heelsides adding an extra kick to the sneakers. To add a little cheekiness to the look, a graffiti style red line is used to track the border between the upper and the midsole. Moving inwards, the graphic insoles are printed with a chili on top of the Swoosh. To round off the look, “Anniversary Edition” text is printed in fiery red on the tongue label to highlight the 40 years of history of Air Force 1.
